Easy Maple Bacon Caramel

This easy vegan maple bacon caramel is going to take your dessert game to the next level! It’s so quick to make, and so darn delicious. With a hint of savoury bacon in this delectable vegan caramel, it’s sure to be a different and tasty addition to any sweet treat!
Cook time: 5 mins
- ½ cup light brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp coconut oil
- 2 Tbsp plant milk
- ¼ tsp Deliciou Maple Bacon Seasoning
- In a small saucepan, combine the brown sugar and coconut oil over medium-high heat. Add the plant milk and stir continuously until combined.
- Allow to boil and bubble for 3 mins, stirring regularly. Watch that the caramel doesn’t burn or stick to the bottom. Remove from heat and continue stirring - it should thicken as it cools and become light brown in colour.
- Stir through the Deliciou Maple Bacon Seasoning and serve straight away. Perfect for pancakes, cupcakes, ice cream and more!
